Damn 2018 got off to a COLD start in the Tri-State-Area, cold winds, snow and a lot of time in doors. The time indoors also allows us to go within, not just to binge watch Netflix lol…. However, the winter season allows us to truly go within and reflect on what we would like to manifest as the years unfolds. The planets tell us the climate in which we will make these manifestations and 2018 will be a very interesting year!
2018, 2+1+0+8=11, as I mentioned before when we look at numerology in years we do so in single digits. So, 1+1 = DRUMROLL … 2! 2 is an interesting number because it calls us to work, often collectively. 2 years don’t always have the quick pace that many would like to usher in their goals, rather it is a slow journey which helps us to better understand the concepts of partnership, reciprocity, patience, cooperation, and the beauty of gradual process.
The 2 year is a process, as it links our past, present & what we will be in our future. This change is gradual, as 2 calls for collective partnership. We must partner with ourselves, our hearts, our creative minds, our practical functionality, and those in our livelihoods to set our goals into motion. Patience is the biggest learning lesson this year, it will be required to move into the rewards of this season without stress.

Slow down this year, stop pushing allow yourself to flow like water naturally into the areas where the universe is trying to lead you. Too many of us bring unnecessary stress to ourselves by trying to steer the ship, turn it right into the direction we feel it is to go. However, the universe often has alternate plans about how our journeys will play out. Find the stillness in the chaos to allow yourself to see the direction that is best for your mind, body & spirit. Moving slowly in this way allows us to be more attentive to what we normally don’t realize. This also serves to still the ego, because we are better equipped to deal with the disappointment that can emerge when things don’t go the way we feel they should.
2 is all about balance and duality, and being able to successfully juggle opposites that are truly complimentary. This year will find you balancing the disappointments of the past, against the aspirations of the future. The successful balance of this, allows us to get a happy equilibrium. Therefore slowing down is so important this year, because it allows one to not just look at the right now but the entire picture and how all of the years leading up to 2018 have allowed us all to come closer to who we truly are. Accept what has happened in the past, while balancing living in the present. This grants you the weapon of clarity, which cuts like a knife through any fog that can be casted in your view.
2018 is all about timing and patience, not just timing but the applicable timing that aids in our spiritual development. Keep in mind that all though you will move slow to allow greater perspective this doesn’t mean that things aren’t getting done. Many things this year will happen behind the scenes with our lessons from the past to bring us all to those personal epiphanies that are jolts of motivation. Sometimes what we want is dependent on other factors also coming together that we may not be able to comprehend. Keep this in mind this year.
